Physicians

Earl Book, MD

Earl Book, MD is a board-certified Family Practice physician with the American Board of Family Practice.  He earned his Medical Degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans and completed his residency training in family practice at Washington-St Tammany Medical Center.

Cathy Lay, MD

Cathy Lay, MD earned her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, S.C. She completed her Family Medicine residency and internship at the Medical University of South Carolina – Trident Hospital. She is board certified in Family Medicine.

Melissa Abraham, DNP

Melissa Abraham, DNP earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Montana State University in Bozeman and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at St. John’s College of Nursing in Springfield, IL. Melissa is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Gina Deem, DNP, FNP-C

Gina Deem, DNP, FNP-C earned her Doctor of Nursing degree, Accelerated Bachelor of Nursing and her Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Development at Montana State University in Bozeman. She is a certified member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

In her free time, Gina runs a hunting dog rescue. She loves to be outdoors hiking and enjoys fly fishing and bird or big game hunting.

Angela Axmann Grabinger, NP

Angela Axmann Grabinger, FNP-C, FNP-BC, RN, BSN earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Northern Colorado in Greely, Colo. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Biology (emphasis in Exercise Science) at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Ariz. She is board certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Andrea Hedblom, PA-C

Andrea Hedblom, PA-C earned her Master’s of Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Pacific University in Hillsboro, Oregon in 2012. She has 6 years of Emergency Medicine experience and previously worked in the Emergency Department at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis MN and with Lewis and Clark Emergency Physicians.

Jennifer Lambertson, FNP-C

Jennifer Lambertson, FNP-C earned her Masters of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner through Chamberlain University School of Nursing, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at The George Washington University in Ashburn, Va., and her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry at Lynchburg College in Lynchburg, Va. She is a board-certified member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Guthrie Lewis, PA

Guthrie Lewis, PA earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Mont. and his Bachelor of Arts in Biology at the University of Montana in Missoula, Mont. He is certified in Emergency Medicine through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Rachel Mattern, PA-C

Rachel Mattern, PA-C began practicing in 2004 after earning her Bachelor of Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Mont. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Chemistry from Carroll College in Helena. 

Aaron Peters, PA

Aaron Peters, PA earned his Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wis. and his Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Neb. Aaron completed his emergency medicine residency at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Ga. Prior to joining the St. Peter’s Health Medical Group Urgent Care team, Aaron worked as a physician assistant in the St. Peter’s Health Emergency Department. He is certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Physician Assistants.

Cassie Searle, PA

Cassie Searle, PA-C received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree at Rocky Mountain College in Billings and completed her undergraduate work at the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho. She holds a Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) for Emergency Medicine through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the Society of Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants. Cassie spent the past 10 years employed by Lewis and Clark Emergency Room Physicians working in both the St. Peter’s Health urgent care facilities and the emergency room.
