Light A Life Memorials Now Accepted

Date: 11/16/17

St. Peter's Hospital Foundation is now accepting memorial and honor gifts for Light A Life, the annual fundraising event for St. Peter’s Hospice. The official tree lighting and dedication of the Hospice tree is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 7, at the Helena Civic Center.  Following a brief indoor candle lighting ceremony, the 80-foot tall evergreen in front of the Civic Center will be lit for those whom lights have been given.  The annual Light A Life campaign helps provide Hospice care to all those in need, regardless of financial resources.

This year’s spokesperson is Ron Waterman, whose wife Mignon Waterman’s wishes to, “remain comfortable, mostly independent, to visit with friends and to continue her civic duties on the Montana Healthcare Foundation board and others" were made possible with the help of St. Peter’s Hospice.

To make a contribution to Light A Life, please send your gift before Monday, November 27 to make sure the names of loved ones are received in time for the tree lighting ceremony. Please send a check for the suggested minimum amount of $10 for each person to be honored or remembered, to St. Peter’s Hospital Foundation, 2475 E. Broadway, Helena, MT  59601. Provide the name of the person the gift is in memory or in honor of, and to whom a card of notification should be sent.  You can also donate online at www.stpetes.org/LALdonation.

For more information, call the Foundation at 444-2370.
