Community Invited to Meet CEO Finalists

Date: 11/12/12

The community will have the opportunity to meet three finalists for St. Peter’s President & CEO position at a public forum beginning at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, in the Hospital’s Education Center.

First, the committee will speak about the selection process and then the finalists' names will be announced and they will introduce themselves. Those attending will also be able to provide their feedback to the Hospital’s Board of Directors.

The finalists will also be meeting with St. Peter’s Board, Medical Staff and employees. The Board is expected to select the new President & CEO at its regular meeting on November 27.

Quick Leonard Kieffer (QLK) of Chicago, a leading healthcare executive search firm, was retained by St. Peter’s on July 13 to assist with the search.  QLK obtained the Helena community’s input on the process at a forum on August 6. The firm reviewed more than 200 applications and recommended nine candidates for the Search Committee’s consideration.  The Search Committee interviewed six candidates in Helena last week and selected the three finalists.

Serving on the Search Committee are Hospital Board members Dr. Tom Strizich, Sheila Hogan, and Mark Taylor, and former Board members Mary Sheehy-Moe (chair) and Candace Cain. Also serving are John Green representing Senior Management; Dr. Dick Sargent, Helena physician; and Mike Cooney and Joan Miles, public representatives.

Those attending the public forums should use St. Peter’s Main Entrance.  For more information, visit or call 444-2135.
