Home peritoneal dialysis training and follow–up is also offered and encouraged for suitable candidates. Arrangements for kidney transplantation are facilitated through this department.
The Dialysis Unit takes care of both outpatients and inpatients. There are 13 approved hemodialysis stations, 12 of which are in a common area and one isolation room. There are also are specially–designated areas for peritoneal dialysis home training and follow–up.
