Health Education Classes
Please only register one student at a time -- registration includes both this online form and completing the downloaded Safe Sitter form. Students must be pre-registered in order to attend. Students who have already been certified in Safe Sitter are ineligible for registration. Please read all instructions carefully. Multiple students must be registered individually!
Unable to attend this session? The next Safe Sitter session will be held May 6 + 7. To sign up for the May session -- come back to this site and register around the 2nd week of April. No pre-registration available.
This is a national non-profit program offered through St. Peter's hospital as a 12-hour, 2-day instructional program for youth ages 11-14. Topics include dealing with medical emergencies, babysitting as a business, age appropriate entertainment, how to handle a choking child, responsibilities and safety, along with first aid and CPR. Students must attend both days to receive certification. Please register student with name, age and birthdate and enter parent contact information when prompted and please register multiple children separately. Please supply student with lunch or means to purchase lunch from the hospital cafeteria. Do not bring any unregistered guests as supplies do not accomodate anyone not registered. Class size is limited to 8 so please do your best to not cancel without notice.
