The Heartsaver CPR course is designed to teach the lay person how to perform High-Quality CPR on an adult, child and infant.  The student will also learn how to apply and operate an AED on an adult manikin. The student must show competency through a skills test for each segment of the course; meaning a skills test for Adult CPR, Child CPR and Infant CPR. The student will also learn the steps on how to treat a conscious adult choking victim and an unresponsive adult choking victim, as well as a choking child and a choking infant.

When someone we know loses a spouse, child, relative, friend or neighbor, we often don't know how to respond. St. Peter's Hospital along with St. Peter's Hospice presents, Grief Guidance, a look into grieving and helpful suggestions for supporting those during a difficult time.

If you know someone who is experiencing bereavement of a loved one, this lecture will provide you with helpful insights on how to support and encourage them during that time.

The Strong Women – Healthy Hearts Program is an 11-week series of nutrition and physical activity classes to help reduce the risk of heart disease. 

It is free to register here online; however, each participant is asked to donate $20 to cover the cost of the program. Cash or a check made out to “Extension Fund” and can be presented at the informational session or at the first class.  Please scroll to the bottom of each page and read through all steps of this online registration.

Congratulations on the upcoming birth of your new baby! St. Peter's offers the Prepared Parenting series consecutively in 8-week sessions so please register when you're at least 6 months pregnant or visit back to register for the next session.  The session below includes all 8 classes in the Prepared Parenting Classes.  Please note by registering you are signing up for all 8 classes but each class can be taken by the public individually and even though registration may be listed as "closed" please feel free to drop in.  The next 8-week Planned Parenting Classes will begin October 5 so please look back to www.stpetes.org 4 weeks prior for the dates of classes...
