St. Peter's Hospital is dedicated to meeting the healthcare needs of the people in the Helena area.  Meeting those needs goes beyond just physical care to include educating community members on today's healthcare issues and polices.  The St. Peter's Hospital Speakers Bureau offers community groups and organizations an opportunity to learn more about modern healthcare from exceptional professionals in the field.

The department will coordinate between the group or organization making a request and the requested speaker to ensure an enjoyable, educational experience.  Speaker requests must be made at least one month in advance of the date desired for the speaking engagement.

A variety of physicians, nurses, and other St. Peter's Hospital experts are available to address topics from the importance of having a health care proxy to prenatal care.  A partial list of speaking topics follows.  If your group or organization is interested in a topic not listed, feel free to include the desired topic in your request.

Upon receipt of your request, the Public Relations Department will first verify speaker availability and then send you a speaking engagement confirmation.  Speakers can travel to organization facilities for a presentation and they may also speak at Hospital conference rooms depending upon availability.  The Speakers Bureau will attempt to fulfill all requests, but at times may not be able to do so due to speakers' schedule conflicts.

As part of the Hospital's community benefit program, speakers are provided to non-profit and educational organizations on an as available basis at no charge. Businesses and other groups requesting speakers will be charged $100 per hour, depending upon the speaker's availability.
