2017 - 2019 Strategic Priorities
St. Peter's Hospital is constantly evolving and developing ways to more effectively serve our community. In 2016, the St. Peter's Board conducted an indepth analysis of our local healthcare market. This critical analysis has enabled St. Peter's to develop strategic priorities that assure we are growing congruently with the current and future healthcare needs of our community.
Community Health Improvement
One of the ways we serve our community is through actively pursuing health improvement initiatives for our community. This is a process that we partner with other organizations and members of our community to identify the health needs. The plan is a long-term, strategic effort to address our communities most pressing public health concerns. The goal of the plan is to improve residents’ health status, increase their life spans, and elevate their overall quality of life.
Each year St. Peter's provides millions of dollars in community benefit including community education and outreach, charity care, subsidized health services and medical education.
