St. Peter’s Medical Group has scheduled two flu shot clinics in October. An appointment is required by calling 447-4180. Please check in with the clinic receptionist.

At St. Peter’s Medical Group Broadway, located across from the hospital, clinics will be offered Monday, Oct. 15, from 1 to 4 p.m. and Monday, Oct. 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Insurance will be billed for flu shots.

Flu shots are strongly recommended for pregnant women, health care workers and those who are in a school or daycare setting, including adults and children. Vaccinations are suggested for those with chronic lung disease and travelers, especially those visiting foreign countries. People receiving a shot are reminded that it does not provide full protection until two weeks after it has been administered and it is still possible to get the flu during this period.
