Competency:  POC testing personal

All POC Testing personnel must have documented annual competencies. All personnel performing any POC-Testing must be enrolled in St. Peter’s Competency Program through the Point-of-Care-Testing office. Providers need to fulfill the competency requirement for the POC Testing he/she performs. Not all POC Testing personal perform all POC Tests.

Test Accuracy and Reliability

Demonstration of test accuracy and reliability every 6 months is required by CLIA and documentation of this could be requested during a JCAHO or State of Montana Laboratory inspection.
