Cancer Treatment Center
The Cancer Treatment Center at St. Peter’s Hospital is an outpatient unit, providing quality care for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Services include full chemotherapy and hematology services, and state-of-the art radiation therapy, including seed implants and intermodulated radiation therapy (IMRT). Our Cancer Center staff is comprised of two Oncologists, Registered Nurses, Radiation Technicians and an experienced team of professional clinical and support staff, who are dedicated to providing exceptional and compassionate care. Dedicated in 1996, the Cancer Treatment Center at St. Peter’s provides expanded treatment services to Helena and the surrounding area. To accommodate the increasing numbers of new patients, the Cancer Treatment Center expanded in 2002 to include room for more chemotherapy chairs, family consultation room, patient resource center, new waiting area and meditation garden. A full resource library for patients and families, as well as internet access for cancer information and cancer treatment options was also added.
St. Peter’s Cancer Center is recognized as offering high-quality cancer care by The Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons.
