  Adult volunteers are needed to assist as course guards for the third annual "Capitol Classic Fun Run,” St. Peter’s and New West Health Service’s one-mile fun run for youth of all ages, set for 9 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 21, at the corner of Montana and Broadway. 

   Course guards are needed from 8:45 to about 9:15 a.m. at the street intersections from the Capitol to the Hospital.  Safety vests and training will be provided and all volunteers receive a free run T-shirt.  To volunteer, contact Peggy Stebbins at 444-2135 or pstebbins@stpetes.org.

   Youth may register for the free event at www.stpetes.org.  Those registered by August 6 will receive a free T-shirt and all runners receive a photograph of themselves crossing the finish line where the local band Triple Cross will perform.  Following the run, there will be a free “Back to School Health Fair” at the Hospital continuing until 11 a.m.
