The American Cancer Society is seeking volunteers for its Helena-area Road to Recovery program.  Volunteers give their time and use of their vehicles to provide a friendly, supportive, reliable presence and free transportation to and from cancer-related medical appointments.

People who can drive once a month or once a week are needed to help make this program a reality for cancer patients in Lewis & Clark and surrounding counties.  Through a Wal-Mart grant, fuel reimbursement funds are available for volunteers.

Those interested are invited to a training set for 4-5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 16, at St. Peter’s Hospital Conference Room 1.  Please call Sarah Bremer at 422-1080 or message sarah@narratechurch.org for more information or to register.
