The new, three-story, 80,000 square foot building will house the Hospital’s primary care clinics in one centralized location to improve patient care, provide better healthcare access for the community, and allow for population growth.
Features of the $14 million project include state-of-the-art exam rooms, improved layout for efficiency and to improve access, and ample, convenient parking. Also available will be laboratory services, digital X-ray, and an outpatient pharmacy to make these services more convenient for patients and to reduce the number of stops they have to make.
The new building will also aid in recruitment of new doctors for the community and provide additional office space for physician specialists in the Hospital’s
St. Peter’s current clinic locations are older buildings that need to be upgraded to meet current and future needs and are too small to accommodate further physician growth. St. Peter’s-employed primary care physicians and services will be located in this one building under one St. Peter’s Medical Group name, including the current Family Health Clinic, Hawkins-Lindstrom Clinic, and Internal Medicine Associates.
Lillibridge Healthcare Services of Plano, Texas, formerly known as Mediplex Medical Building Corporation, has been selected as the project’s construction manager. Lillibridge is the same company that in 1998 built the
