This FREE heart wellness event and health fair will feature
- A lecture by a national lifestyle and cardiac health expert, Joe Piscatella of Seattle who is president of the Institute for Fitness & Health. Piscatella is the author of 12 best-selling books and has been a frequent guest on The Today Show, CNN, Fox News and Good Morning America and host of three PBS television programs.
- Early morning blood draw with results available that evening, including $15 lipid panel screenings (tests cholesterol, glucose and triglycerides). To sign up for a blood draw, you must click here. (Sorry, but the 100 free spots have been filled.) Doctors, nurses, dietitians, and other health professionals will be available to discuss results with you at the evening event.

Over 2 million people have attended Joe Piscatella seminars. Piscatella knows the science of healthy living, but also understands the practical application. After undergoing bypass surgery at age 32, he has utilized lifestyle habits to successfully manage his health. Today, Piscatella is one of the longest-lived survivors of bypass surgery in the world. TIME magazine named him "a force for positive change."
For those who may not be able to attend the entire evening event, another presentation will be offered by Piscatella from 2:30-3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 21, in St. Peter’s Education Center.
The presentations and event are being offered free to the community through a grant from St. Jude’s Medical and St. Peter’s support.
