Pediatrics

Pediatrician Venus Villalva, M.D., a Twodot, Montana native, earned her Medical Degree from the University of Nevada in Reno.  She completed a residency and fellowship training at the University of Utah, Pediatrics; and attended Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA for her undergraduate degree.

A Helena native, Dr. Tom Strizich graduated from Capital High School and completed his undergraduate studies at Gonzaga University in Spokane. After receiving his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine, Dr. Strizich completed his internship and Pediatric residency at the University of Utah.

Tom, and his wife Colette, have two sons. As a former Capital High assistant tennis coach, he still likes to hit the courts. Having deep roots in Helena, Dr. Strizich also knows the best places to enjoy Montana's outdoors.

Dr. Jack Reynolds is board certified with the American Academy of Pediatrics. He earned his medical degree from the University of Washington. Dr. Reynolds completed his pediatric residency at the University of New Mexico. Dr. Reynolds has been with the Helena Pediatric clinic since 1986.

Dr. Reynolds enjoys fishing, hunting and hiking.

Michael Palcisko, M.D., joined the Helena Pediatric Clinic in March 2005. He moved to Helena from Ohio where he had practiced at a clinic the past five years.

Dr. Erin Keefe is board certified with the American Academy of Pediatrics. She earned her medical degree from Boston University. Dr. Keefe completed her Pediatric residency at Stanford University. Dr. Keefe has been with the Helena Pediatric Clinic since 1988.

Dr. Blayne Fritz is a board certified pediatrician. He earned his medical degree at the University of Iowa College of Medicine in Iowa City, Iowa. Dr. Fritz completed his residency training at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, Wisconsin.

Dr. Fritz joined the Helena Pediatric Clinic in 1995. He has three sons and he enjoys cycling, motorcycles, and traveling.

Formerly of Helena, Dr. Michelle Danielson graduated from Carroll College and completed her medical degree at the University of Nevada School of Medicine. Dr. Danielson completed her residency in pediatrics at Blank Children's Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa, where she has also served as chief resident. She has also volunteered at a free health clinic as part of a medical mission to Grenada.

Dr. Danielson and her husband, Cody, are the parents of three children: Kaden, Kendra and Kellen.

Dr. Tess Augustine joined Helena Pediatric Clinic in 2005. She went to medical school in India and did her pediatric internship at the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, and her pediatric residency at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI.

After completing her residency, she spent two years doing volunteer medical work in various parts of India working mainly in orphanages and refugee settlements. Subsequently she served as a clinical assistant professor of pediatrics at the Medical College of Ohio and also worked in a pediatric practice in Sandusky, OH.
