Gastroenterology

Schaefer earned her Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Montana State University School of Nursing and her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing at the University of Health Sciences Center in Denver, plus a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Physiology from the University of Bath, England.

Jeannie Fahlquist earned her B.S. in Nursing at the University of Mary Hardin-Bayler in Belton, TX, and her M.S. as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Montana State University, Bozeman. She assists Dr. Michael Lee, in Gastroenterology, with office visits, colonoscopies and diagnosing and treating bowel disease.  Before joining Dr. Lee, Falquist worked at as an operating room nurse at St. Peter’s Hospital, and as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Helena Urgent Care.

Falquist grew up in Houston, TX, and has lived in Montana since 2001. She has two children.

Michael Lee, M.D. is a Board Certified Gastroenterologist who earned his Doctor of Medicine at the State University of New York in Syracuse.  He completed his residency and internship in internal medicine at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, and his fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of California-Davis Medical Center.  He earned his Bachelor of Arts at Columbia University in New York City. Dr. Lee enjoys mountain biking, camping and the great outdoors.
