Alzheimer's Support Group
This support group is one way to lighten some of the burden of this devastating disease for family caregivers and patients. The group meets twice monthly on the second Tuesday and the fourth Thursday of the month from 7-9 p.m. at 900 N. Montana (Professional Plaza). Brain Injury Support Group
The Brain Injury Support Group meets the first Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Disability Rights Montana office, 1022 Chestnut. For more information, contact Karen Cyr at 449-2538.
Eating Disorder Support Group
This group meets Thursday in the Medical Staff Services Conference Room. Please call Allison, (406) 439-6935, for time or more information.
Grief Support Group
Hospice of St. Peter's periodically offers a 7 week grief support group for those who have experienced the death of a loved one. The focus of the group is to provide participants the opportunity to share their thoughts, feelings and experiences with others who have also suffered a significant loss. Topics of discussion include the grief process, the emotional, physical and spiritual aspects of grief, self care, and coping with holidays and other significant occasions. The group is for adults, free of charge and open to the public. Registration is required and group size is limited. Contact Lynne Grant at 447-2464 for further information.
Pregnancy Loss Support
This group meets on an as–needed basis. Please call Terri Temple at (406) 444-2250 to express interest or gain more information.
You Matter Too
This is a support group for caregivers of those with any serious illness. It meets the second Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. Particpation is free. Please RSVP at (406) 459-2336.
Cancer related groups:
Women Surviving Cancer
This is a support group for women who have or have had cancer. It meets weekly on Wednesdays at noon at St. Peter's Hospital, Room 1. Please call Janis Ahlstrom at (406) 444-2192 or send a message to jahlstrom@stpetes.org for further information.
Women's Evening Cancer Support Group
For all women surviving cancer, the group meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at Carroll College. Contact Kari Parmer, RN, for more information, (406) 495-6780.
Look Good, Feel Better
Look Good, Feel Better teaches women how to cope with skin and hair changes as a result of cancer treatment. It meets the second Tuesday of each month from 3-5 p.m., at the Hospital. The group is free, but please RSVP at (406) 490-6859.
